No, Cyprus Night in the village hasn’t started yet due to a dispute between two of the restaurants over table placement.
This happens every year for some reason – I can’t personally see what they find to argue about as the square obviously doesn’t change in size from one season to the next. Sometimes it delays the start by a week or two but a few years ago it took over a month to resolve it. Eventually, they realise that the loss of revenue from not having Cyprus Night is greater than that gained from having another table.
However, Cyprus Night at The Vineleaf on the beach started last Friday.

There was supposed to be a meeting today about the tables and they hope that all can be resolved so that Cyprus Night can start next Wednesday.
