Missing Cats - please help us find them

Postby junemichael » Wed May 21, 2008 6:49 pm

Our cat Timmy vanished yesterday (20/5/08) morning and we are desperate to find him. He is 17 years old and we brought him over from England 6 years ago. He does not wander far from our house and garden and feel he may have got in someone's car so could be anywhere in Limassol. He is healthy but too old to walk far. He is a tabby grey and white neutered cat and is wearing a collar with a identity disk with his name and our phone number. Please can you keep a look out for him we are heartbroken. He disappeared before Christmas funnily and ended up over 8 kilometres away from our home in Potamas Yermasoyia. We are still also looking for our cat Moses that also disappeared 6 weeks ago. He too is our cat from England and is 14 years old. He is also wearing a collar and id disk with his name on it. He is black and white. They both have microchips but they are not registered. I hope no one minds me bumping this thread up, I also have a Grey White Tabby & I can imagine the pain.
Maybe a pin would be in order.

Just to let you all know that we did get Moses back after 7 months! He had moved in with a Cypriot family 10 kilometres away. He must have got in a car (hopefully no one deliberately took him away and dumped him). He was wearing a identity tag (heart shaped) and the people looking after him thought it was just for decoration so did not check it until one day their neighbour noticed our phone number on it and called us. We were over the moon to get him back.
Sadly it is nearly a year since our Timmy was lost and we never got him back. We still live in hope that someone out there is looking after him. He had an id tag on so don't understand why we never got a call. Our hearts are broken not knowing where he is, alive or dead. 17 years we had him and then one day he was gone. Please keep an eye open for him. He could be right under your noses and you think he lives near by because he has a tag on but it could be our Timmy a long way from home.
