How much do you know about the Cypriot people , G/Cs or T/Cs , I will tell you , very little . Extremists on both sides caused all the conflict that allowed Turkey to invade our island. We lived at peace with other for years on end , I , personally lived for two years in an orphanage way back in 1953 following the earthquake of September 10th 1953 , along with T/C children who like me became orphans , we shared dormitories , we ate together played together and sometimes cried together as children do. I grew up remembering my best mate ASSOS , means ace in Greek , he was the biggest boy and the toughest , a T/C little boy . How on earth can I possibly hate this boy , a man now my age 62 , I'm sure if he is still with us he too will be expressing similar sentiments and thinking of his boyhood friend all those years ago. Yes we lived together , our mothers had the same love in their hearts for their children , the fanatics caused the hatred just as you are now showing with your immense hatred .
I have a daughter , a little older than you , if she ever expressed the views that you express directed at the T/Cs I would feel the most desolate man in the world for having a child with such views , but I know she will never do so because we did not bring her up to hate our own Cypriot people , yes young lady the T/Cs are my people just as the G/Cs are .
