AQ, you haven't answered my question "when was it in The Times?" Are you just posting these topics to increase your Post count or do they have substance?

I don't understand this statement, because in 20 years I have only found the total opposite to be true.

Maybe I'm going to the right areas :?

And just maybe I'm going to the wrong areas!

Why are you comparing the "illegals" and asylum seekers who may well be draining the UK taxpayers' resources .... with the "contributing" English people in Cyprus?

Veiled distortions of reality ...

Surely you should be comparing the wealthy Arabs, hardworking Poles etc who are most definitely contributing to the UK economy ... and certainly more substantially than the majority of "English" people do in Cyprus ...

To boot, Cyprus has its fair share of "illegals" and asylum seekers too ...

Whoops, do beg your pardon! I slipped this in the wrong Forum should be in the RACIST post! And no, I should not be comparing the Poles who are also a drain on the state sending millions back to Poland - in my world this is not a contribution. And here we go again! Same old story -'English' people not doing their bit, ad nauseum.

No one is assigning the need for contributions from you ... you are the one setting yourself up, and denigrating others in the process judging by your slanted posts .....

Not that I agree with the mass migration into the UK of other foreign nationals but, jut to correct you, the amount estimated that is sent to families outside the UK is £1 billion per annum. The amount the immigrants have added to the economy is £6 billion per annum. Do the math!! Trust me, I DO NOT agree with the mass migration. I have 2 friends who were made redundant. Both wanted to look for casual/factory work, until something they wanted came along, but couldn't. Why?

BTW sources for the figures above come from Reuters and The Mirror.

Sorry went to bed reason for no reply. The survey was all over the UK papers this week. However due to our tough re-cycling laws the papers are long gone!

Which part don't you believe, that we are Europe's fattest nation or that Cyprus are second?
