You obviously have spent a bit of time trawling YouTube for gay videos!!!!!! So just to help you out, and to possibly assist you in deciding to admit your gayness you may wish to view the link below. You can return to the motherland AND have as much ass as you want

I think, Oracle, you'll find xxNilxx is a closet homosexual, not homophobe  Most homophobes are trying to suppress their homosexual tendencies by opposite representation.

Well in this day and age that is a sad reflection on a society that makes its citizens uncomfortable to express something as normal and widespread as homosexuality, that they have to go around making a song and dance about it ....

If xxNilxx was gay that would be the most normal (and endearing) thing about him/her so far!

.... because I am not racist ...

When I meet a person, I don't instinctively categorize them into a "race" ...

Everyone is the same to me, and so long as they are nice Humans, that will do!

Not quite true, because all polls are taken as a per capita percentile.

On a serious note though, I find it difficult to comprehend that you can actually have "dig" at Greece for homosexuality. I've been going to the Greek mainland, islands and Cyprus now for 20 years and have neverseen open homosexuality, whereas I have on the one occassion I went to Turkey. The only other places I have seen it is in Morocco and Tunisia. So, talking percentages, in my experience, Turkey has a higher percentage of homosexual displays in public.

BTW, if you are a woman, I have never encountered one that appears to "hate" gays so much.

Gays in north take to streets to raise awareness
By Leo Leonidou

A GAY RIGHTS group yesterday took to the streets of north Nicosia to mark International Day Against Homophobia (IDAH).

Calling themselves the ‘Initiative Against Homophobia,’ members of the group distributed leaflets to raise awareness of the issue and change the law.

In the north, the law on homosexuality stems from colonial times and makes sex between two males punishable by up to five years in jail. There is no law prohibiting sexual relations between women however.

The Initiative is a civil society organisation that was founded to fight against discrimination because of sexual orientation, to prevent homophobia, to protect the basic universal rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gendered people and to increase sensitivity in society.

Since the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from its list of mental and behavioural disorders on May 17, 1990, this date is recorded around the world as the IDAH and celebrated as a day of resistance and activity against all physical, moral and symbolic violence referring to sexual identity or orientation.

According to the Initiative, “the fight against homophobia requires constant work. May 17 is a special day when everyone’s efforts converge towards a common goal. This annual event aims to make people aware of the devastating effects of homophobia, to impart a positive image of homosexuality and to combat exclusion. Everyone should take part in their own way.”

According to one activist, “we must educate society and let people know about the problems that we are facing.”

He added that at the moment, “homosexuals in the north are forced to hide their true feelings and this is not right.”

Earlier this week, the group applied to register the Initiative as a non-governmental organisation with the Turkish Cypriot authorities.

“We are hopeful that something will change for the better,” the activist said.

A Greek Cypriot volunteer with the Family Planning Association was also involved in the distribution of around 1,000 leaflets yesterday.

“I am here because I believe that everybody should be free to do as they please, especially in the privacy of their own home,” the woman told the Mail. “We must respect everybody’s choices and beliefs, but the law in the north is not always democratic, especially on taboo subjects such as this.”

The leaflet distributed by the Initiative states: “In the scientific community, people ask the same question but from different angles. Is homosexuality a question of nature or nurture? In other words, are we born with our sexual orientation or do we become gay, lesbian or bisexual depending on our experiences, education or other influences? Different theories have been put forward although there’s no general opinion. Regardless of such theories, we say for sure there is total agreement on the fact that people cannot choose their sexual orientation and that there are no ways to change it.”

There are currently 77 countries across the world where it is a criminal offence to be gay.
