Any update on your beautiful family dog?

You do realise that she will be brought back to you as she is micro-chipped! Some things are just meant to be - may as well just keep her and keep on with the 'training'! You could always go to a professional dog trainer ..................... pleeaaaaaaaaaaaaase! :)

Oracle, yeah i am the problem... walking her for 1 hour, grooming her, taking her to the vet in the middle of the night to put emergency injection for a severe allergy (her face became twice the size) just because she managed to get to the garbage bin and eat the leftovers of king prawns in blue cheese sauce. All tho i tried to teach her not to pick up food from the ground and not to take food from strangers... spent hours and hours.

If anyone else thinks they've got more patience than me feel free to take her...
I will leave her in the middle of a Salt Lake where she can have lizards for lunch if she manages to catch any...

OK ... reading between the lines .... I can see that you are a big hearted softy that loves this Labrador to bits and like any overworked "mum" is crying out for help with the "terrible twos" stage ...

Well the best bit of advice I was given in training my Lab. (e.g. to not bark every time the postman dropped a letter in the door, or poo on the patio), was to have a spray aerosol (like bathroom cleaner spray but well washed out) filled with water and immediately after or during her doing something she was not meant to do, I would spray her in the face (avoiding eyes) with a few gentle puffs of water ...

Within three days she became as good as gold .... then always had rewards to reinforce what she was doing that was acceptable ....

Good luck ....

I know you adore this Lab ... :D

Adding to the above, you can actually buy this type of spray that goes around the dog's neck - and they do work. My friend's dog barked incessantly. A few days of having water sprayed into his face soon put a stop to that!

Please, you know you want to keep her really!

Here is her last photo taken 10 minutes ago, and 5 minutes before i shot her with a hunting riffle. Its so good living in suburbs, no one even heard the gunshot... + i can use a hose to wash down all the blood.

May she rest in peace.
