The intercommunal conflict started in 1958 when Turkish Cypriots attacked the Greek Cypriots. Have you watched the video I posted to you? It clearly documents this undisputed fact, and yet you still prefer to repeat the propaganda lies they teach you in your schools in order to excuse the crimes you continue to commit against us today.
It is also interesting that you accuse Cypriots of being "murderers" and you pretent to be innocent.
Lets see the events and the murders:
1) From 1489 until 1570 Turks attack Cyprus in many occasions, killing Cypriots, raiding our cities and taking captives as slaves.
2) 1570 the Turks attack again with a full-scale invasion, killing 10s of thousands of people. In Nicosia alone they killed 20.000 Nicosians.
3) 1571 - 1878 Cyprus is under Turkish rule. The Turks treat the Cypriots as second category people with almost no right. Every time the Cypriots try to revolt the Turks slaughter Cypriots by the 100s and 1000s.
4) After only a short brake of 80 years, in 1958, and while Cypriots are revolting against their new ruler the British, the Turks attack Cypriots again in order to help the British to oppress our revolution. In that conflict which the Turks started (watch the video I posted earlier) both sides have a few 100s of losses each.
5) In 1974, the Turks invade Cyprus again, killing 1000s and ethnically cleansing 100s of thousands. The Turkish propaganda lies saying that they invaded supposdedly to protect the TCs, while the truth is that no TC was harmed in 1974 before the Turkish invasion had started. The few 100s of TCs that were killed in that war were killed only after the Turks with the help of TCs started their invasion and killing Cypriots by the 1000s.
So:
a) The Turks are the ones who started all conflicts in Cyprus:
The Turks are the ones who without any provocation from us started the whole conflict by raiding and then invading and occupying our island.
The Turks are the ones who started the intercommunal conflict in 1958
The Turks are the ones who started the war of 1974.
b) In terms of murders, the Turks have killed 1000s and 10s of thousands of Cypriots in several occasions, while your losses which are all in conflicts which you started where only some 100s.

That it is the Turks who started the inter communal conflict in 1958 in order to help the British to deny yet again to Cypriots their right for freedom and self-determination?
That in 1974 Turks invaded again, killing 1000s and ethnically cleansing 100s of thousands, giving as an excuse that they supposedly did a "peace operation" to protect the TCs, while in fact no TC was harmed in 1974 before their invasion had started and before they started to kill Cypriots by the 1000s?
Do you dispute anything of the above? Or do you dispute that the Turks in Cyprus have killed 10s of thousands of Cyprus, and violated the rights of Cyprus for centuries, something that they continue doing today, while your losses where only some 100s in the conflicts which you started, and yet you have the nerve to come here and accuse us of being "murderers"??
