But new Turkish-Cypriot leader slams ‘intransigence’
NICOSIA (Combined reports) - Greek Cypriots still seek reconciliation with Turkish Cypriots, but the UN plan for their island must be revised to conform with European Union principles, President Tassos Papadopoulos said yesterday.
Speaking on the anniversary of Greek Cypriots’ rejection of the plan in a referendum last year while Turkish Cypriots accepted it in a similar one, Papadopoulos reiterated that the overwhelming “no” vote did not mean Greek Cypriots were opposed to reunification.

According to the mentality of some groups of Hellenes(Cypriots included) all TCs who don't agree with them are intansigence and just another "puppet of Turkey". Furthermore all foreigners who don't agree with them are "enemies of Hellenism". Moreover all Hellenes who don't agree with them are "traitors".
