Cargo question

Postby IcyNoAngel » Wed May 14, 2008 10:07 am

hello everybody, it's me again

Do any of you guys have any idea of a shipping company in Cyprus? I am looking to send around 50 kilos of luggage in another country and I need the name of a company that can do this for me.

I tryed searching the internet, I find only cargo shipping, as in industrial shipping, and I don't need that.

Thank you for any help,
Angel

You searched the internet for companies that operate from Cyprus? Everything is on paper over here. I think you will have more luck with the Cyprus Weekly!

Thanks, I just got carried away thinking I might find something on the internet

Anyway, the question still remains, if anyone knows a name or a place, that would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks,
Angel

The key word you need is "movers" not "shipping"!

As a specialist in moving cargo all arraound the world i can tell you that if you search a "mover" they will serve you well but invoice you twice as a freight forwarder will do, 'cause movers need to ask for the services o a freight forwarder to move the cargo , so why don't go directly to the source. On the other hand you will find that some freight forwarding companies dind not accept what we call "personal effects" and when you find any company of any kind that will do ask them to clarify you all costs involved (freight, customs clearance, inland transport....) just to avoid any surprises
