Notice that the West refers to them as... “Illegal Exports” …because they are headed for “undesirables” like Libya, Iran and North Korea, but if the materials were to head for the US, UK, or Australia then it would be an “anti-terrorist” transaction!

To say that this world disgusts me is an understatement… :?

I see the President of Iran says today that Israel celebrating its 60th anniversary will not stop them from annihilation!

Maybe this is why the west does not want an Iran with nuclear weapons GR! I know that I certainly don't. There again, I would prefer if nobody had them.

Simon, hardly a week goes by when Israel does not threaten Iran with anything from pre-emptive strikes to God knows what. There is no such thing as "good guys" and "bad guys" but rivaling teams each out to serve their own selfish interests.

Now C'mon GR. Tell me the truth. Who would you prefer to have this type of technology? Iran or Australia?

I could tell you for a fact that Australia will never use this technology to anihilate another country. Now consider a world where Iran suddenly has nuclear weapons. If this eventuates, you should consider moving your family from Cyprus as you guys will not be immune to the nuclear fallout of Isreal's and Iran's anihilation!

Yes GR, but Israel only talks about pre-emptive strikes because Iran is seemingly trying to procure nuclear weapons, while at the same time promising to annihilate Israel. Any country in the world would consider pre-emptive action in such circumstances.

Is Libya still considered an 'undesirable'? I went there for work reasons last year as I was told 'they were coming back into the international fold'. I really liked Libya and Libyans - and didn't find any illicit nuclear material there either (not that I was looking!).

In general terms though, I agree, hypocrisy abounds.

'Ireland' won't include Northern Ireland, one of the reasons the UK is relatively low on the list.
