Understand this, Turkey would relinquish EU entry rather than leave TC's defenseless in Cyprus. In addition, Cyprus can try and affect EU policies as much as it wants, Turkey will walk away from the negotiations once it is being asked to do things other EU entrants havent been asked to do. How long has GC been pushing to allow its ships into Turkish ports each time Turkey says...fuck off.. your powers of persuasion are no where near what you think they are. i dont say lets attack the GC's and take the whole of cyprus. my belief is the two communities cannot and should not live together and that the TRNC should concentrate on gaining recognition, if that fails then becoming a part of the Republic of Turkey would be next option. No guns invlolved in my views
