What is it with the Mongolian link, do you consider it an insult? Its water off a ducks back as far as we are concerned we embrace our Mongolian heritage as one rich with history and events which have led us to where we are today.

I'm happy for you VP... it's just a shame your people don't show the same respect for OTHER people's heritage; you'd be hard pressed to find a history and heritage older than that of Cyprus...

If you take a look at several sites of the occupied territories you’ll find many ancient ruins where OUR ancestors left their heritage to US but the Turkish Cypriot community along with Turkey decided that it doesn’t matter…

I've just picked it up from the air waves. The Cypriot National Guard has captured Smyrna and is now marching on Constantinople! The Megali idea is still alive! Central Asia beckons once more for the Turkic tribe! How are your Altaic phrases?

Talking about dicks and what not , it seems that a large minority of Europeans have Mongolian DNA. Have did that happen?
As regards insulting Turks by calling them Mongolian forget it .Give me Mongolian ancestors rather than Greek ones any day.Long live Mongolia.

I dont see any famous Brazilian footballers being named after ancient Mongolians or Turks. I do see ones being named after ancient Greeks though. LOL - who the fuck cares about ancient Mongolians or Turks!?

True

There has been no greater civilisation than the ancient Greeks. Only mugs would try to deny it.

You guys seem to care so much about our rich central asian that you have to keep repeating that we have Mongolian roots.
I like Greek names . In the old days people in our village all had Greek nicknames.

Indeed , ancient the Greek civilization can claim to be up there with the Egyptian and Chinese ones . unfortunately , its present day representatives are a mixed bunch no-hopers and failures.

Yeah never mind the Egyptians, the Arabs and all the Mesopotamian civilisations like the Sumerians, Akkad's, Ubaidis etc. who were recording history 5000 years before Jesus was still in his fathers testicles, but all hail to the Greek bum fuckers

If you ask these idiots the Greek Civilisation dates back to the prehistoric times, in fact Adam and Eve was Greek originally known as Adamexis and Evezenilos, don't tell me you didn't know?

NO Greek will tell you that most of what everyone automatically considers as Greek is actually a rip off continuation of the Mesopotamians, they have even changed the names of locations to Greek which were originally named by these people

But here they are bitching about a few Turkish villages which have been renamed, get over yourselves man. Greeks are an important part of human history yes but no way near to be called the actual "source of civilisation" they are not even that old!

Specially not in Cyprus!!
