Who are, Pro rata, the best Armed Forces in the world

After constantly hearing about how invincible Turkey is, I am interested in seeing who forumers believe has the best military on a pro rata basis. This is not just about difference in numbers. It is about technology, training, bravery, experience etc etc.

If you're going to include Turkey in that lot then I see no reason why Cyprus should not be! (Honestly)

Come to think of it the question should be... "Which country is the odd one out!"

I put Turkey in with this lot, as I am interested to see just how good people believe the Turkish military is, compared with real military powers.

I wasn't allowed to add any more options GR. I had put in North Korea as well, but it did not come up.

Undoubtedly and internationally acclaimed as the best army is the British Army with Israel close behind , I have gone for the British army , in the absence of the Cypriot army , that with first hand personal experience , I also consider as a professional and well armed unit.

Anyway, In my opinion Turkey has no place in this group and the world scale goes something like this…

Air Force….……: Pilots (Israeli), Planes(French)
Navy……………: Sailors (US), Vessels (Japan/Korea) *
Infantry…………: Undetermined
Armoured………: Men (undetermined), Vehicles (Germany)
Elite Forces……: Gurkhas (British), Hezbollah (Lebanese), French Legionnaires (France)
Space…………..: EU
Nuclear…………: Japan
