You have taken an article I specifically wrote last year to target the Turkish Nationalists and well-known “grey wolves” forum called ATCA. It’s a shame it’s no longer in operation as a full fledged forum so that you could see via a link what happened but other former members there, like Eric Dayi can verify this.

It’s a shame we can no longer access this site because I had done far worse with other threads to them back then, and it would’ve been very entertaining to be able to read them today…
Oh well…

You only just posted this article which prompted me to respond and demand a poll.
Are you now saying that WAR IS NOT THE ONLY OPTION ?

I am saying what THIS thread started out to say...

Miltiades,

IF Turkey was removed from Cyprus, the international community (especially the EU) would not, indeed could not, allow them to invade again. Cyprus is now a member of the EU. It could not happen again. Hence, we would only need to beat them once.

Was that you that just voted by any chance Umit?

No I did not vote. Not everyone is like you GR. I would like to see how many clowns you will pull in.

GR all your crap , makes a part of me want it  ! I would love to see your face the moment you start to piss yourself. I'd like to point out that all this talk about war just reminds me of my primary school days and I just cannot bring myself to hate a poor sod like you. In an event of war I would defend my state the TRNC. I would never feel proud of shooting a single GC but if I had to I would.

Then again the only thing GR can start is a Cyber war

He still has hope for an unnegotiable military. Can't call him a traitor for having peaceful beliefs for this mess to end.

So do we, but ...

On the basis that he would still advocate inaction when the only option to save our country is a specified course .... then that would be tantamount to acquiring the label of "traitor" ... since he has labelled GR! as a "warmonger" for advocating defending our country against the present occupation....

Of all the people on this forum you are the last person I would have thought was unable to comprehend what was written.
GR did not advocate defending our country against an attack by Turkey . He stated clearly that the only option left was war.
I have not stated anywhere that I Would flinch or remain inactive following an attack on the ROC by Turkey . You are labelling me a traitor for refusing to consider war as an option in liberating the occupied part of our nation. Your dismissing my adherence to the principles of negotiation and political war in order that a solution can be found without bloodshed and with a predefined end goal , something that the war will never offer, the consequences of such blatantly irresponsible action would be catastrophic for Cyprus . Wake up to reality , negotiate and use political manoeuvres to reach a settlement not a bloody war.

Judging by your "Alpine" uniform you've been assigned to fight the LOK on Troodos haven't you?

This is the dumbest comment I've read all day. Anyone think they can break the record.

How will we deal with the T/Cs and the settlers once we have annihilated Turkey !!
I hope you are not also contemplating the services of Blackwater .
Simon you surprise me mate , never thought that you would consider a war on Turkey as an enviable option. Politically we have a chance , a big chance and we are proving it by not relenting under pressure and by continuing to have the support of the International community in denying the "TRNC" recognition that Turkey so much fights for.
To consider that we can defeat Turkey and then presumably deal with the T/Cs and the settlers , who now doubt would surrender in droves and accept a lift to Turkey !!!!! Are you serious , do you think if we wiped Turkey from the face of the earth we will have a solution ?
Tell us how , once Turkey is defeated , we shall deal with the T/Cs and the settlers , please do .

It's not dumb at all but your 20 something years on this planet are insufficient to comprehend the significance and international repercussions of the RoC reaching Kyrenia and hoisting her rightful flag even for one day... any further aggressive move Turkey may take thereafter would be equivalent to a second invasion.

Do you think Turkey gives a shit if it's the second, third, fifth , millonth invasion. Lets say you win the battle, Turkey would never "turn the other cheek" . You'll be dealing with "You cut my finger , I'll cut your throat" mentality which GR has yet to understand! I guess you got away too early in 74" GR.
