Casting my vote here or on the other poll would be irresponsible , I want to see the support that the war monger GR has .

GR is a man who served his country, and still does 3-4 times year, and if I'm ever called upon to pay the ultimate price I will... or I can never look at my son and daughter in the eyes again.

Miltiades I don't think you are playing fair by labelling GR! as a warmonger ...

No GC has been a "Warmonger" in our history ... we have never instigated a war as we have never invaded anyone before / ever .....

What GR! is proposing is defense of our country against the invaders in an effort to recover our loses ...

That is not being a warmonger ... and you are a traitor for siding with Turkey! :P

I think most people would fight to defend their country. Fighting to regain a third of it that someone else has a claim (wrongly) on is not quite the same thing. Taking on a larger better armed country 40 miles from your tiny (relatively) island is madness, you may win the battle you would never win the war.

Of course it is the same thing. I wonder if you would be saying the same thing had Nazi Germany conquered part of England, removed several million English people from their homes, and then someone told you that fighting them was not the same as defending your country!

No , he is not proposing the defence of our nation he is stating that the only option left is WAR. Read below .
He has excluded any further political manoeuvres , negotiations or compromises , he is stating quite clearly that war is the only option .
As far as your cheap accusation I shall file it where it belongs Sto kalathi ton axriston , might even deposit you in there too.
Listen madam scientist and understand. I oppose war because war will solve nothing , it will bring misery and lead to a bloodbath but the T/Cs will still be here and Turkey will still have troops on our soil.
Cant you not see that by overwhelmingly supporting war as the only option , as per GR , you are playing into the hands of the T/C extremists who will point a finger and accuse us of planning to attack , cant you see the repercussions of such an irresponsible act ? They say we the G/Cs brought destruction to our island and by the looks of it they are bloody right.
Siding with common sense and reason does not mean supporting Turkey as you so stupidly state. Read my position again.
HERE IS A REMINDER OF WHAT ALL OF YOU SUPPORTED "
BY GR :
""Any illusions of a complex inter-communal political arrangement being implemented in Cyprus is now history, Turkey’s EU make-believe journey is over, and it is now a race to get the upper hand in technology, political influence, and in the overall balance of power because unfortunately it’s become apparent that Cyprus can only be liberated in the same way it was enslaved… through bloodshed ""
Amin !!!

Good Heavens miltiades, you have surely over-stepped the mark by branding Get Real a 'War Monger' !!.

Is it possible that a man who, like yourself, has expressed such support for the dreadful actions of the US/UK and others, can utter such gibberish without realizing the implications of such a statement ?.

I must confess, I am lost for words.

Here we go again the same mentality of the 60's and 70's has shown itself . To be honest I wasn't expecting a result like this from GC's. I am sure that GC's will never force a attack on the North . I can understand a GC wanting it, the thing I cannot comprehend is, how the hell can you even think that you can get away with it? Greece helping out would mean a full scale war with Turkey! Greece ain't that dumb. You gotta face the facts the only card the GC side has is the EU and if they push it too hard Turkey will just tell'em to f**k off. Another thing that you people fail to understand, is that in such an attack it wouldn't just be the Turkish Army you will be up against, TC's would take up arms against you as well. It ain't all your country it's ours as well!!

He still has hope for an unnegotiable military. Can't call him a traitor for having peaceful beliefs for this mess to end.
