Turkey is still the obstacle to a solution

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You can suppose whatever you want... TP lost simply because AKEL abandoned them and placed their own candidate, and if you recall the first round results you'll find that the country was split extremely close in three. TP's result was very impressive given that he represented a much smaller party than the other two candidates and clearly proves a considerable swing from those larger parties in his direction.

Turkey was and is the problem and obstacle.

Let's just hope they self-destruct! ... and we are freed from their shackles.

Something tells me that if the current Turkish government is ousted by the military, Turkey is going to be next on America's "to get" list. Funny thing is that this time, America will probably have a lot of middle-eastern support.

No, Syria is in line next. Would not be a good idea to go after Turkey at the same time. But on the other hand the machine that plans US foreign policy can never be totally predictable. It must be a machine, no human would be that dumb.

I agree that Syria is much despised by the US but it's a much more dangerous game for them because of Iran and a few other allies... it's gonna get VERY messy and the yanks know it.

I forgot to clear up Nikita, that the US would seriously jeopardize the state of Israel should it directly engage Syria and trigger a very likely Arab domino effect, and that’s what I suspect is keeping them from doing so all these years.
