This poll would have been more meaningful if Turk-TCs did not cast a vote, as quite clearly they are not going to vote for Get Real!'s leaning towards Cyprus' capability to defeat Turkey.

I for one would have liked to see just whom the GCs would have backed.

Miltiades .... we are all prepared. That is what GR! is drumming in to you.

From the moment I dived in that ditch at the age of 6 to escape the Turk intent on killing me, to the years I've lived seeing my people victimised and my country plundered, from the years I have spent abroad, because of the Turks making my parents think like you, years of studying that a moral life, a human life is the only one worth living, my desire has been to force Turkey to relinquish its hold on Cyprus and allow us to get on with our rightful lives.

All options are open .... and if Turkey will not negotiate towards the correct solution ... we have to make her! I really believe, Turkey is a lost cause, and we need to find the right time to capitalise, to minimise hardship and force her arm.

I still don't think it will come to war .... but we have to stand up for ourselves .... We are worth it!

Eliko , the whole point is that most forum members do not consider war as a means of achieving a solution to the Cyprus problem as advocated by GR , who is convinced that Cyprus , perhaps with the help of Greece , and this is Perhaps with a capital P. He is also convinced that Cyprus is now a world player and if it has to it can take on Turkey and defeat it. This is pure nonsense and any one with slightly more brain than GR can see how ridiculous such assertions are . The same assertions were made by the military coup leaders way back in 1974 , remember the famous words , "we shall throw them in the sea !!!

Every one knows I support America , always did and always will regardless who the next President might be. I detest those that treat life as cheap as the suicide bombers do by indiscriminately killing men women and children in open places be it a market , a prayer room or a bus.
