What is this? A damned football match? Changing goal-posts to get a result which will benefit the 'Sabre rattlers'. Good luck. Hypocrisy showing its ugly head. First you want all Cypriots to be just that, until the TCs do not serve their purpose. Wonderful.

TCs are Cypriot too. Are we not to have a say? Now you want to legalise the 'vote rigging' you are planning. This gives me 'great hope' for the future of TC and GC living together.

Off your high horse!

The reason for the request was because I did not think the TCs would vote for anyone advocating a war with Turkey, and it would cloud the issue of whether Miltiades or GR! had a point.

After all if the RoC was ever likely to consider an attack on the "trnc" it wouldn't care whether they had the support of the Turks on the matter.

Now why don't you start another poll, for TCs only, to see whose strategy you (collective) prefer out of our two protagonists. :D

The new slogan read "IT IS BETTER TO LIVE 1000 DAYS..."... :( :( :(

You forgot to mention the 7 year old who approached last and added:

"...as the village idiot!"

There was no such smart-arse child...You made her/him up...

My choice would be that you did not have any protagonists among yourselves. This only prolongs our suffering. The division among TCs is bad enough.
So in the end what matters is what 'you' think (singular). We know what you think Oracle. Do Oracle and the real you share the same views?

Its a shame the two sides did not declare their 'manifesto' before the voting. This would negate the need for a shifting of goal-posts.

What high horse do you talk about Oracle. I will have you know I have no head for heights. When one falls, it is more painful.

Enjoy.

Are you seriously suggesting that Turkish Cypriots should have a say as to whether or not Greek Cypriots should consider a military confrontation as an option? Image

At the beginning of the thread, the contenders did not state their 'manifesto' clearly. You also used the figure of the 800 TC union members for you pro-Enosis referandum when it suited you. Why stop there?

I agree that it was badly done and in poor taste, but not surprised as I don't expect any credibility coming from Miltiades' direction.

I did? :? I could've sworn I presented that thread in a neutral manner and without ever taking advantage of it in other debates.

Not you personally. 'You' in the plural. You began the thread but others decided that it was valid and laughable.

Of course, when Eric returns I may be tempted to direct him to that link...
