How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

A single blow from “Zuzana” (heavy artillery) can turn a structure like the Ercan airport into rubble from tens of miles away…

The Exocet MM40 will be the first to greet the Turkish navy from kilometers away…

Regards, GR.

These aircraft at Ercan Airport (10 x F16s and C130) will not even get off the ground in a surprise attack.

Have a look at Ercan Airport using google earth.

...I have suggested the supramilitarisation of the Army. Having many forces seems to be an option we have done well with already. The Modern world as we know it is expanding so that whole continents have become representatives of themselves. As in the EU we have a committtment for tolerance, and an inclusiveness, as Human Beings to accept each other as equals. I don't want NATO's nukes here, but the Brits and the UN might find with Cypriot, Turkish, and other forces a manner to use their Armies against real enemies, such as Hunger, Disaster, Ignorance, and Disease.

VP has a strong point which you can hardly ignore. My own view is that our differences can be used, if we choose to, as countervailing powers, so that as Individuals we can assure ourselves no force, in the form of government, can plunder what our Rights are, as equals and as Human Beings. I understand that Turkish Cypriots enjoy their security as persons, just as the Greek Cypriots, they wish to sustain their culture and the society they have built around it. Nothing in our history should deny this fact, and moreso, as Great Cooperators, our history as the most socialised people in the world should have no bounds, as we must prepare for the centuries to come, where in Cyprus, 'things' may be not at all the same (with a population of many million).

my choice, that Manifesto, is a compromise which serves our needs by allowing us to create a Maronite Assembly, if we have the courage to assign them territory over which they have Jurisdiction in the citizen's internal affairs. With English as our Official Language, support in other languages will have a chance to go beyond the three languages as Cypriots. and in terms of the National Assemblies, each will demonstrate their own distinction in accomodating the minorities amongst them.

Enclaves are not a dirty word. In any agreement some redistribution of the land must provide for whole communities to return ("Greek" and "Turkish"), or it will not be seen to be Just.

...sooner or later, you guys will have to show some grit.

so I ask again, make your own proposals as I have, so that they too can be ignored. Frankly, I started with a map I saw in the newspaper, in 1974, and I never forgot it. two years ago(more), I met VP and Kifeas, and others and they became a part of this map. Now the time has come to act, to choose bombmaking without Grace, or through reason suffer peace.

I never give up (oh dear too many"I"'s), and I am expecting better things, so join me or show me, (again and again if need be) comprehensively your ideas in the Proposal Solution section.

The only “strong point” VP has ever presented us with was being born…
