Why partition is out of the question…

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

That’s based on your assumption that you have friends on the CF… :? …and an even further assumption, or is that an illusion, that you’ve received a PM from an imaginary entity…

That you're a fool is elementary... and even more so for assuming that you're important enough for three people to "gang up" on you! Image

The problem with your picture Get Real is that, if we sign a united Cyprus deal on the island with no Greek military presence, the picture you have rightly presented us with will actually be from Turkey!!! Know what I mean. Due to Turkey's ever changing, undecisive political position, need I also say unstable, Turkey's biggest guns will be pointing to a NON-Demilitarized island of Cyprus. At least with a two-state deal, we'll have a chance to protect ourselves when the Turks change their stance.

And believe me, they will change their stance!

Their AKP party is a puppet, their CHP party are hidden soldiers, while their MHP party members are known as the Grey Wolves of Turkey. And guess who's leaving town - yes! the AKP party.

Please Get Real, at least take our side in the field of protection. Even Israel prefers a two state resolution against the Pals - why? Because they simply don't trust them.

partitionists Unite!!
Same way I'll fight to save my country from any further millitary aggression, I'll also fight to save it from being cut in half. No one has such a right to divide this island. WHat makes you so special after 1000's of generations before you and after you to be the "chosen" one that divides it?

Get Real,

I understand your way of thinking, believe me, but how the hell can a demiliterized island - which is what the island will become after a federal solution is found in the NEW eyes of the UN, defend itself against a changing Turkey if they (the Turks) decide to adopt a different stance once the EU make it apparent that Turkey can never become an EU member state?

Do you honestly believe an EU rapid puppet force will be able to ward off Turkey when it couldn't even sort out the former Yugoslavia!

And, do you not believe it will be easier for the Turks to split the island, officially and legally into two EQUAL parts once they prove that we Greek and Turkish Cypriots start inter-communal fighting again - AND, I wonder who will spark that off!!!!

Come on Get Real, you all must be able to see Turkey's master plan with all this united Cyprus agreement rubbish. Please lay your head down for one moment and think about the consequences if a united Cyprus fails, if us Greek and Turkish Cypriots start fighting amongst ourselves - as this is obviously going to happen. We can't even play a football match together without causing a fight never mind living under a roof that has a 50/50 Turkish influenced government.

We have fought for so many years to make the Republic of Cyprus free - where, the only solution is either the Turkish Cypriots join the way the Republic of Cyprus operates today, or let them fold within their own ideological world!

Know what I mean.
