How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Yeah, I see you still haven't gotten over my avatar! Would you like me to change it for you? It doesn't have any special meaning for me.

So when is one’s homeland worth dying for Miltiades? When the odds are stacked up in one’s favor?

Will reply shortly , just dealing with some hooligans at the moment !!

I never lived in the UK Bafidi. At least I ain't some dickhead who thinks that a military option is even thinkable. Miltiades doesn't talk shit like you two, he examines the facts and talks about reconciliaton. He see's that gaining trust from the TC's is the only way out of this mess . I actually think he is sincere with his intensions even if I don't agree with everything he says. For this reason I and many other TC's on this forum respect him a whole lot more than you two clowns.

Amongst TC's , people from the villages around Paphos are known to be a bit thick and extremely stingy.

You're ASSUMING that your projected stance is one of a "peaceful solution" but you're going to be surprised at how many see through your artificial lip service.

But anyway, that's fine with me miltiades so why don’t you start a poll like…

“Whose posts/threads do you find more interesting?”

…make your move.

You are the expert my son on starting polls , and the content must reflect the areas under discussion on this thread . Whose views are constructive in finding a solution to the Cyprus problem . Miltiades or GR . I trust you will be starting this poll based on the matter in question , your views versus mine , dare to do it ? I don't think so you have no balls mate just mouth and trousers ! The subject must be relevant with your expressed views as against mine on ways to find a solution. Go on then .

Sounds good..."Whose views are constructive" ...although I'm having trouble recalling what your views are other than calling people "plonker"... :?

You know perfectly well what my views are . Are you chickening out ?
Here is what the poll should be about : WHICH VIEWS DO YOU CONSIDER MORE APPROPRIATE FOR A REALISTIC , JUST AND PEACEFULL SOLUTION TO THE CYPRUS PROBLEM : GR OR MILTIADES .
Go on mate see who is supported by the overwhelming majority on this forum. WAITING FOR YOU !!

So when is one’s homeland worth dying for Miltiades? When the odds are stacked up in one’s favor?

Firstly let me tell you we are not suicide killers , we are Cypriots and we consider FIGHTING for our country much more productive than becoming a corpse. Those that think dying for their country is a privilege are the f..ng idiots who blow themselves up in order that they enter paradise.
I would fight for my country in order to defend my nation and my people .
My nation is Cyprus and my people are all the Cypriot people , G/Cs and Turkish Cypriots , however let me spell it out. If Turkey was to invade the free part of Cyprus right now then I would be one of the first to join the armed forces of the ROC and even at the age of 62 ( I was 62 yesterday ) would join the fight against the enemy.
However the current events dictate that reconciliation and understanding is more needed that a bloody war. The T/Cs are my people. Those that know me well can understand my sentiments , those that dont will just have to make their own mind up.
I do not consider that fighting against the T/Cs equates with fighting for my country since the T/Cs also consider Cyprus to be their country.
When more Miltiades , Birs , Halils , Icemans and Bananiots emerge then the chances of a peaceful resolution will increase tenfold.
Remember I opposed the AP so my views are consistent not influenced by who likes me and who doesn't.

Can someone introduce a poll based on above. I have to admit I do not know how to do it . It seems that GR is the expert but I dont see him activating it.
Some one do it please and lets see how much support the war mongers have , if only on this forum.

Because I couldn't be bothered... In fact I'm a bit embarrassed that my name is next to yours in a poll! Image

Like the one that got shot down in 1996? A fact which the Turkish generals decided to hide from the public to avoid going to war...

It's true after all, the most insulting thing one can say to a Turk is that their army is not invincible... I understand that it's the generals that run the country, but do you people simply believe anything they tell you?
