i think that both the tunisian drivers and indian drivers are the worst i have ever seen. it is nice to see that on both sides of cyprus you have something in common. your driving skills.

infact tunisian and indian drivers manage to avoid accidents in such extreme and undeveloped driving environment... wether in CYprus i see 2,3 accidents a day on a straight strip of a quality road having ABS,EPS, USB,MP3 equipped cars :D

1
If you must use indicators, never do so before performing a manoeuvre.
Predicting what the driver in front is going to do is a pleasant pastime for other drivers.

2
If you have an accident, call any available friends and family members so that they may "help" by milling around waving their arms and shouting.

3
When riding a scooter it is reasonable to wear a helmet loosely around the neck. This assists in swift decapitation and saves having to waste time taking you to hospital after a crash.

4
You may park anywhere you choose in Cyprus.
Prize parking spaces are across dropped kerbs and on pavements but only as long as you can cause maximum inconvenience to as many people as possible, anywhere is fine.
If you cannot find a parking space it is acceptable to abandon your Vehicle in the middle of the road.

5
If you are waiting to pull out of a turning do not move until you can pull out right in front of someone(try to ensure that the road behind them is empty) ideally causing them to slam on their brakes.
Other drivers are usually delighted at an unexpected opportunity to test their reaction times.

6
If you are behind somebody who is driving too slowly, possibly even as slow as 10kph above the speed limit, you can "ask" them to move out of your way by driving very close, honking, flashing your lights and using your right indicator (if you can find it)

7
High beams must be used at all times especially when travelling down well lit streets. This enables other drivers to be able to distinguish you
from a lamppost before getting blinded and careering into a tree.

8
If you decide to stop at a red light (not compulsory in Cyprus) ensure that if you cannot park in the middle of the junction, you at least park across the pedestrian crossing.
When the light changes try to stay where you are for as long as possible until the drivers behind sound their horns.

9
Unfortunately very few shops in Cyprus are drive-thru. This means that you must walk (an ancient form of transport used mainly by peasants) from your car to where ever you want to go into,to save wear and tear on the legs ensure that your vehicle is as close to the door as possible.

10
If you should come across another driver who is driving at a few kph over the speed limit then you must overtake either on the inside or outside. Once you are in pole position either drop your speed to several kph below the speed limit or take the next right turn.

Very Good Niki
