"University places for Turkish Cypriots" ??

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Shah I don't think they meant it in the way you understood. It is a special contingent for TC students . The school I attend also has a TC contingent of three students for each course. It doesn't mean that only three TC's can enter each course. WHat is meant is that TC students will be evaluated seperately and that the best three will be accepted regardless of the other applicants. I guess any TC applying who could surpass the other applicants in terms of qualifications would still be accepted.

Here's a link about the TC contingent at my uni. as an example:

I guess I'd have to change my name to Mustapha to get you to listen to anything Shah. Thanks for not discriminating.

You can drop the sarcasm and the colourful language and one might take you seriously even as Stavroz

He only confirmed what I had already told you on page 1:

Oracle wrote:Shah I don't think they are limiting the places for TC students. TCs would probably be able to apply like any other student, but on top of that normal Entrance quota ... they have probably set aside "limited" places which they would discretionarily / preferentially give to TCs, over and above the usual general entrances.

.... but you accept what he said, and doubted me

Discrimination I say!

 Even knowing that lecturers of the highest caliber like GR and DT would most likely be teaching your precious children?

We'd have him saying Kalispera daddy in no time.

What Umidis sent me is a page regarding the scholarships of the Middle Eastern Technical University, which has a special quota for the TRNC students, its a Turkish university!!

So is that what the news is about?

The fact that TC students can NOW earn scholarships in the University of Cyprus just like they can in another country?

And you say there is no discrimination?

Yet they all hold RoC passports, interesting...
