BUYSELL Cyprus

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

I also was looking for some property and gave them a call. The ass on the other phone asked me the cursory questions and I haven't heard from then since. They do know how to market some properties, but their customer service sucks! Stay away if possible...I certainly will.

8) So Basically the concensus of opinion is Buysell are crap - but most other estate agents are too? Well that makes one feel really warm inside.
Coupled with Dodgy Developers and no title deeds doesnt exactly inspire confidence does it?

I had no problems buying a property with them. Very helpful, drove us to places, and even negotiated a lower price without me having to do anything. Not bad.

On the other hand I've heard selling a property is not so great with them. I've also heard upto 8% commission and lack of interest all round. Not good. I've no direct experience selling here so take that as you wish.

Lets not kid ourselves though. Most estate agents are scumbags, and they tend to be more scumbaggy when they are selling your place. Not as if the UK has angelic estate agents. Once the smug self important gits turned up in their (almost to a man - thats not me being sexist. Haven't met a female estate agent yet. Think males excel at smugness which is obviously a prerequisite for the job as well as knowing the secret handshake and the secret location of the antler headgear shop) Porsches flounced around my property, I picked the most enthusiatic, seemingly honest (I seriously don't believe you can look into *everyone's* eyes and see they are lying, but it's better than nothing...), and nicest one. And even then it took a fair bit of time to insist they showed people around (not me!) and gave me decent notice. Honestly, is like training dogs or something. No wonder they have so much money. They take a load of your cash, spend five minutes checking out your place, then pretty much get you to do all the work (if you let them). Brilliant...

Cheers

I had a bad experience with BuySell as a buyer and would neither return to them nor would I recommend their services. I visited several pre construction properties with the Coral Bay agent, and we liked one property, the agent told me the price and every word from his mouth was a lie, they will not build in front, he overstated the fixtures, plot and property size.

I later went back and met with the developer, without the agent, buysell had overstated the developers advertised price by CY£10,000, when challenged the seller said it was for the agents commission and the agent said that was the price they would now be advertising the property at..........

They did not see me for dust......

You buy a property based on descriptions and information provided, I understand that Buysell are not estate agents and claim to be "Marketeers", basically they can say what they want and there are no repercussions. Buyer beware .....

well On cyprus there should be AWESOMe auction service .. maybe I will create one ;) but to make it work.. there is not only need for coding and design people ened to know about that.. and BuySell well

design is pure.. the "company" with did this made a "huge backlink storage" o b ottom and people pay for that around 5000 euro.. it is not very professional website but it gives a lot of income to company with created it ...

Best Wishes

Buy sell are nothing but a money making organisation, we had a property in their catalogues and even after they removed it they kept calling to see if we had sold it to ask for their commision!

With that said, if anyone wants a 3 bedroom villa in the pernera area (protaras) optional pool please get in touch with me xD
Flexible price for the times!

Potential purchasers are sick of all the skullduggery in Cyprus.Property for sale on websites for ages but never selling, price rises notwithstanding the fact that loads of property remains unsold and a general feeling that no one is to be trusted. With the strength of the euro against the pound I think that the Cyprus property market is in for a seriously bad time.Super island but full of scams .You may still have the Rusians but Brits are starting to see the light! Some may not like us "whitearses" but the property market will miss us . :(

well said...

Really? A company that has the aim of making money - how disgusting!

I don't suppose you signed an exclusive contract with them that stated that they got the commission whoever sold the property?
