Reunification, are we capable?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Reunification, are we capable?

Postby unitedwestand » Wed May 07, 2008 8:01 pm

We all need to ask ourselves this simple question. It will be the beginning of a new Virgin Cyprus but are we really capable of reuniting peacefully?

If the posts exchanged between TCs and GCs on the forum is anything to go by I would say its going to end in tears again. It will be another 63-74, do we need to see those dark days again?

United We Stand, but with so much hatred is it really possible?

The real question is: Do TCs want one united Cyprus, or they want to keep what they stole and insist that the north part of Cyprus is supposedly Turkish?

If you don't want a united Cyprus, and if you insist to Turkify the north part of our country, then obviously unification is not possibly by peaceful means, and it will become possible only when we will be able to liberate our lands.

What is not going to happen, because we will not accept it, is to divide Cyprus officially into "Greek Cyprus" and "Turkish Cyprus" and label the result as "unification" when in fact it would be partition.

what worries me is that on both sides of this forum, there are educated people who can't seem to move on. the past is the past you can't change it, the future is something you can shape for your children. a little more understanding on both sides is needed.

That's just an assumption...

Given that it's impossible to reason with so many in denial, if we have to have a military solution then why not? At least this time the RoC can defend itself...

I really thought you were an educated, smart kind of guy. A bit of a wanker at times but smart.

The above has changed all that, now I think you are a certifiable lunatic

That's only because your confidence of a positive outcome is based on even more assumptions...

What do you suggest, that we reunite in anger.? :? :? :?

Do you have any examples where 2 sides reunited in anger.??

But then again, you have already made up your mind with what your signature says
"United We Stand....................., not in a million years".

If you have already made up your mind, why do you then open a thread on whether we are capable of reunification or not. A bit of a mute point for you, isn't it.?

By the way, just how old are you.??

Do not go down the road of conflict . Look at what happened to the Greeks of Turkey when Greece invaded and tried to defeat the Turks. There thousands of soldiers in Cyprus just waiting for you Greeks to make the wrong move . Do not do it.
