I tried the new taverna in Peyia last night, driving 'down' from the village on the road to Agios Georgious, on the right hand side, really liked it. I frequented the Peyia Tavern for some years, but it has lost its touch.

What I liked about the Eva Peyia development, was that although you were close to Peyia, it felt very quiet and peaceful.

I sometimes wonder if some of you people have actually ever been to other areas of Cyprus... to call Peyia "picturesque" and whatever else is a joke!

As for the tasteless matchbox "villas" with micro pools all these Brits are buying there... I'll wager a 4.0 on the Rihcter scale would most likely turn them into convertible sheds.
