Is this the small Pafilia development, set back on the left as you drive 'up' to Peyia?

I tried the new taverna in Peyia last night, driving 'down' from the village on the road to Agios Georgious, on the right hand side, really liked it. I frequented the Peyia Tavern for some years, but it has lost its touch.

What I liked about the Eva Peyia development, was that although you were close to Peyia, it felt very quiet and peaceful.

 I sometimes wonder if some of you people have actually ever been to other areas of Cyprus... to call Peyia "picturesque" and whatever else is a joke!

As for the tasteless matchbox "villas" with micro pools all these Brits are buying there... I'll wager a 4.0 on the Rihcter scale would most likely turn them into convertible sheds.

Even to Nicosia 8)

no more peaceful place, than Peyia ... Pegeia ... except, maybe, Pissouri.
Or mountains kinda near Pano Panagia
