Kato Pyrgos is great - got a real 'end of the road' feel to it. However, very frustrating to see Morphou bay stretched out in front of you as you drive down from the mountains towards the town, knowing that you can't drive through and explore further.

As for Peyia I personally think the level of development there is hugely excessive, and the new 'bypass' is an absolute disgrace. The cute little village on the hillside is no more..............

forget about fisheye for panoramas - it is optically impossible.
you may shot any pics using usual lens, making all pix at any sequence that cover 360 or less and Autopano will combine panorama for you.

very curved pix
unreal

for close shots special head for tripod is necessary - not cheap

but ... we aren't professional photographers :-)

tomorrow I'm going to western Akamas, where light house is.

I’ve made the head already.

Check out the amazing panoramas on this site before you say it is optically impossible.

Peyia population - is ~80% of non-cypriots
britons, german, swiss, russian ...
mostly - 'holydaymakers', as me, spending only a few months per year in their properties.

Main reason I posted these pictures - I hope they will be interested to find their villas on modern landscape :-)

really - nothing beautiful ...
construction, construction, consrtuction everywhere
noisy from early morning

PS sorry for my English
