Deputy Prime Minister-Foreign Minister Turgay Avci has arrived in Syria for a series of contacts and inspections.
The Foreign Minister will be holding high level contacts in the Syrian capital Damascus.
Mr Avci will then move on to Palmera city where he will come together with members of the TRNC delegation consisting of representatives of tourism agencies and hoteliers who have been holding contacts in Syria as part of a promotional trip.
Avci is expected to return to the TRNC tomorrow.
