If you don’t feel like a Cypriot but a "community" then you are not a Cypriot so it’s pointless in you continuing playing the same record on this forum. Let someone else have a go…

We are a Cypriot community on this island who have just as much right as your community and we will not give up that right or allow you to shut up up, we will continue to get our voice heard.

Is this what he calls political equality ?
The stark reality is that until the emphasis is shifted away from perceived motherlands and concentrates wholly on the Cypriot ethnicity , numerical minorities will exist. Nothing wrong with this , there are in the UK hundreds of minorities all part , those that wish , of the society at large.

Are the Scots a minority in the UK?

Good point about the Scots. They have their own parliament in Scotland. But when it comes to general elections the government of the UK is chosen by one man one vote in the whole country and funnily enough it results in a Scotsman becoming prime minister.

Because the Scots, the Welsh and the English had their own land and language established for centuries well before they formed a Union (UK). The TC's and the GC's never had that in Cyprus. It is all mixed. The division we have in Cyprus is a forced one and not a natural one.

I hope this answers your question. I'm surprised you even asked it, being that it is so obvious. On the other hand, anything that helps you to understand why there is an embargo and non recognition of the "TRNC" is no trouble at all for me to take the time to explain them to you.

Something like that, but then again, the land deeds held by the rightful owners of the land in the North will never expire since they have all been documented as to who their rightful owners are.

Better try a different approach, like.................................PEACE.!!

well then lets wait for 1000 years then VP. At least you'll have wiped out the thrue TC and created a state for a new TC settlers of 1974 onwards.

The choice is yours either agree a solution with us or have a new breed of TCs as your neighbours.
