Firstly it is GCs like you that bring out the negative in TCs and the desire for partition, wise up your going into the EU was purely with the hope that it would resolve the Cyprus issue, its obviouly not for anything else as the majority of GCs hate going into the EU ask your small businesses and what its cost them to come in line with EU norms, those that are still open. Where is your European Solution they have referred you back to the UN and Annan plan, so dont give me that crap, you fucked the EU so now they are trying to wringle a way around accomadating a part of the island that is not ready to enter the EU, so every time they have to make concession to the north they will curse your administration, so please continue to put up obsticles that will frustrate the EU UN UK USA and Turkey but be prepared to take the full force of the consequences........

VP, I know MicAtCyp can come across as slightly condescending at times, not sure if this is a deliberate thing or a virtue of being Cypriot, I'm hoping it's the second. The best way to deal with condescending people is to confront them with valid arguments that they can't possibly refute whilst maintaining credibility. I understand that it can be frustrating to deal with attitudes like this, but retaliating with abuse isn't the way forward mate. Confront MicAtCyp with a concrete argument and then see what response you get, if he is being deliberately condescending I guarantee you won't get a response because he won't have an argument to come back at you.

I sympathise as it's easy to get carried away and just have a pop at those that annoy you, I've done it in the past myself (remember the infamous 'threads-locked' episode!), but don't belittle yourself and your points of view by doing so.

I've been at the receiving end too VP, but I refuse to bow to it. I think MicAtCyp delights in thinking that he has answers to everything and is the most-researched person in the forum. However, he isn't infallible and if you read his posts with a forensic eye, you can pick out and exploit his mistakes... no offence Mic...

We all have to deal with smart-alecs in life, the best way is to beat them at their own game rather than letting them get to you.
