POLITICAL HOOLIGANISM

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

POLITICAL HOOLIGANISM

Postby Bananiot » Tue Apr 29, 2008 9:40 pm

Forget about football hooliganism. The worst type of hooliganism is the political kind we are exposed to here in Cyprus. Today, Archbishop Chrysostomos B' accused Christofias of employing Annan Plan supporters in the working groups and technical committees. This holy saint (do not laugh, this is how the top clergy address each other) called all those that voted for the Annan Plan to hung themselves in the city squares, back in 2004. It is quite obvious that the rejectionist block are singing the same tune, trying to kill off possibly the last chance we have for solution.

God bless the saintly Arch. X for uttering these golden words. There is surely a special place reserved for him in Heaven. I pray that he may join the queue to sit at His Right-Hand when the time comes as a just and deserved reward for his wise counsel and for bringing the rain.

I wonder what would happen if we were to ban talk of Enosis,Eoka, Genocide, Turkey's intervention/invasion, Turkish settlers, illegal occuption and property disputes on this forum......
Probably complete silence................... apart from Halil posting pictures of food and villiages.

I have just seen in writing what this man he calls himself Archbishop said. He claimed that many of the Greek Cypriots that man the working groups and the technical committees have the same views as the Turks.

In other words, they say in Greek what the enemy says in Turkish, as ex president Papadopoulos used to say. Papadopoulos was the worst political hooligan that was born in Cyprus.

So what, Mr archbishop? What is wrong if me and Halil, Andreas and Mehmet have similar views on anything and better still on the Cyprus issue? Is it a bad thing? Is it not what is required in order to find a solution? I know your kind. You would rather see Cyprus buried than see the two communities living together in harmony in a united, bicommunal, bizonal Cyprus.
