I had won the 'tracking' event. The promised prize never materialised. I should have left them to get lost near Aghirda/Krini at the foothills of the Pentadaktylos.
Had more fun with the school band/orchestra. Even then, we were preparing for out annual Newyear show on Cyprus TV, when M III decided to alter the constitution. I had practiced so well for the 'In a Persian Market' by Ketelbey. Damn.

Between me and you GG, we had better access to the girls from the high school. They had a chorus which accompanied us. In those dark days of sexual repression, young love was not tolerated. You could not even talk to a girl in the street who was not a member of your family. It was a Casanovas dream, that TV studio. Many a love affair blossomed there. Dont tell anyone.
Denktash even ordered our lunch breaks to be staggered so we would never meet in the city centre. How about that? Spoilsport.
