It's HOW they killed him that sucks! I would've given him one final joy ride by shoving a napalm up his arse and firing it up so he can loop back to where he came from... ever seen a Turkish shooting star?

Be honest , at the sight of Turkish soldiers or airplanes cowards like yourself would have pissed in your pants.

Between 1983..86, I had personally arrested two Turkish soldiers seeking asylum, one double agent TC shepherd, and a married couple of British tourists in a Z car photographing military areas.

Having literally lived with Turkish soldiers for around three years of my life, instead of pissing in my pants when I’d see them, I would tend to get an itchy index finger and I’m sure they felt the same about me…

Sure , we believe everything you write . Gig brave GR , a professional piss artist . I still say your expertise is pissing in your pants.

[quote="Eric dayi"]

In 1950's when the UK lost all of it's colonies the GCs thought this is their chance and started terrorising and killing British men and women shooting them in the back in day light while they were shopping. [quote]

Wrong! UK did not lose all Colonies in the 50's.

How's the water situation BTW? - obviously serious as you guys (not just you Eric) appear to be p*issed when you post, thus leading me to believe that not even bottled water is available for you to dilute your alcohol!

The name-calling!! Are you adults or is this a kids forum?

Shame on you.

Zimbo , your absolutely right but with arseholes like Eric we sometimes have to respond in kind after all we are only human.
Incidentally during the 4 years of the struggle ONE British woman lost her life as a result of being shot while out shopping , not as this arsehole would have you believe !! Just ignore the Plonker.

He does appear to be hard work! I don't think I would believe much of what he says - but as you know it's difficult not to respond to errors in posts.

Are you talking about Hong Kong? What other "colony" was left other than Cyprus at the time?

Falklands?

The water situation is exactly the same as yours but the alcohol intake is 100% less then yours.

Maybe you should ask the GCs/Greeks in the south to tell you what it feels like.:roll::roll:

Oh yes, very "grown-up" of you to laugh at the "water situation" of the people suffering in Cyprus, very "grown-up".

Come back when you've grown a brain.

There were 26 British civilians killed by the EOKA terrorists you supported and 49 injured.

"Be honest , at the sight of Turkish soldiers or airplanes cowards like yourself would have pissed in your pants."

You should try saying this after being at the receiving end of shelling or bombing with no means to counter it. It is a very character forming experience.

As for running away that is bullshit. Wherever your glorious mehmecik or whatever you call them met resistance they stopped. Nicosia airport, ELDYK barracks, Ledra Palace. Check the newsreels of the time. Thirty people resited a batallion at the Ledra Palace and stopped them. Eighty cooks at the ELDYK barracks were left in the camp and they held against a mehmecik regiment backed by tanks and air power.

For an unopposed navy and air force it was a disaster. They bombed and sank the Kocatepek and badly damaged two other ships while failing to find an unarmed Greek transport ferry.

Nikitas , I have decided to ignore this arsehole , every single post he presents , every answer he gives is indicative of a less than normal individual. Have you noticed he actually started a thread with me as the subject , NOT A SINGLE REPLY . Everyone knows what an arsehole he is and rightly so he was ignored . Maybe if we also ignore him he might just wither up and abscond !

There were several British colonies after the '50's' - which I don't have the inclination to name individually - just 'Google' it and see for yourself.

I am NOT laughing at the water situation - you have misinterpreted my post, moron! God don't you TC's get humour? Don't twist my comments as you are looking foolish. Again!

Cyprus was at Turkey's mercy . A line was drawn in the ground through which she was not allowed to cross. Turkey just wanted a bit of Cyprus , unlike you Greeks who want the lot. As regards resistance , the fearcest was at Girne , where Greek soldiers were tied to their posts so as not to run away . Was Girne taken by the brave Turkish soldiers ? If you are that strong how come nothing has been done by the National Guard since 1974 , except playing at pretend soldiering?
