You’ll be lucky to get your quoting right let alone post anything of substance. Do more reading and less posting, for your sake…

Now I am really scared. GR must be areal tough nut. :x :x :x :x

Go ahead and keep embarrassing yourself then...

It's HOW they killed him that sucks! I would've given him one final joy ride by shoving a napalm up his arse and firing it up so he can loop back to where he came from... ever seen a Turkish shooting star?

I remember while in Turkey in 1964, an event took place that disturbed the whole country. I had to look up recently to get the dates and names. It was 8th August, 1964 when a small squadron of Turkish Air Force was sent on a mission to attack Greeks positions in Cyprus, when one of the jets was shot down, and it was reported that the pilot had ejected. The whole country was glued to their radios to get as much news as possible. I was only 9 years old, but I still remember the intensity and the conversations that took place regarding the out come of the downed pilot. After 4 days of waiting, it was reported by the Greeks that the pilot has died in the hospital from his injuries, trying to land his crippled jet. That day the whole country of Turkey cried for the pilot and his family. The pilots name was, Captain Cengiz Topel. It was determined later that the pilot was tortured and killed by the Greeks using fire to burn him alive. The examination of the body by Dr. Peter Kristensen and Dr. Finn Soensen from the UNFICY did not support the Greeks version of injuries caused by crash landing.

Just the fact that "a pilot that had ejected" is later on reported as "died from his injuries while trying to land his plane" is enough to prove that he was simply tortured.

Proof , if needed , that you are congenitally incapable of posting anything with coherence and common sense. How constructive do you think your views are in presenting a Cyprus where all citizens enjoy equal rights , where law and order prevails and where all the cruelties and suffering of the past are forgotten for the sake of the future. There is an old political adage that says you should keep your friends close ( in your case Bin Laden and Blackwater ) but keep your enemies closer , collateral damage can be minimised in your case , should a full assault on your ego occurs , and judging by your ill formed half baked ideas it could just happen. In the meantime I will keep to my wine and you to your smelly dirty smoking !!!
Your presentation of the arsenal available to the G/C forces as a threat is pathetic, but there again Mr Plonker so are you !
Come on give me that special GR treatment !!!

Paphitis said:

"Thankfully, airpower today is very different to what it was in the past. Ordnance is delivered with great accuracy (within 10m) to the target which limits significantly any civilian loss of life."

And all this accuracy makes the pilot who bombs civilians DEFINITELY guilty and even more likely to be summarily punished by civilians who catch him.

A pedestrian who bombs a cafe is a terrorist. A highly educated and trained pilot who levels a city block, as in Lebanon is what?

I also want to remind the posters of the pilot who bailed out near Vassilia in the Morphou area in 1974. The locals sent one man to arrest him and the pilot shot and killed him with his sidearm. In my view this proves that those who wanted to kill the pilot and not arrest him were right, and the dude who tried to arrest him was dead wrong.
