New LAW on Military Service (For TC's)

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

New LAW on Military Service (For TC's)

Postby halil » Tue Apr 29, 2008 7:25 am

birkibrisli gözün aydın :!: :!: :!:
The TRNC Parliament has approved an amendment bill on military service which will enable Turkish Cypriot men born or living abroad to postpone their national service until they return to the TRNC with the aim of resettling in the country.

The new bill also grants an amnesty to those who lost the right to serve a reduced term in exchange for cash.

The new bill includes other important changes as well.

The bill also grants complete exemption from military service to Turkish Cypriots living abroad who had served compulsory military service in another country.

Aydinlikta ol daima,halil gardash... :!: :!:

It is indeed good news for those of us who just want to visit for a while...
Not so good news for those who want to return for good...They will now have to pay for the privilege of returning to their homeland...Even in their 80s and 90s....I hear you think "That bastard had to find something to criticise"... :) But think about it,mate...Why should someone in their 70s or 80s have to find thousands of pounds to pay for what is their birth and human right.... :(

Tell us about the Army service regulations in the so-called "RoC" Bir, do the GCs/Greeks who live there or want to return are not forced to do their time or pay?

Hey dickhead, in the RoC you cannot pay your way out. We don't need to scam our community to feed the politicians

After 50 years old, you don't need to do it anyway, moron.

Further, if you were born outside of CY or lived for 10 years or more outside of CY fter the age of 27, its only a 3 month stint, Plonker.

I sympathise with Bir, you crackpots are always having a go at him, because he doesn't dance to your tune. Mainlander
