EASTER?

May sound like a stupid question, but why is your easter so late? Ours was early this year, it was in march.

Greek Orthodox Easter is the first Sunday, after the first full moon following the vernal equinox. Some years it can be as lates as May. It also coincides with the height of Spring and new flowers, which presumably is the point.

Catholic Easter is fixed the Sunday following the first full moon of spring thats why this year our easter was so early
