How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

They would not have the guts to use it , plonker

Is that an "educated guess" or wishful thinking?

Neither . The GCs are too cowardly to take such action

It was wishful thinking after all... :) ...because the RoC is arming herself to the teeth in case you haven't been informed, and that's not a sign of someone prepared to take it lying down is it now?

"bilako," live the slogans aside and let us know what will you have to say, when the RoC will indeed use its veto right against Turkey's EU accession?

You will do exactly as in 1974 , plonker . That is run away at the mere sight of a Turk

The cowardly Greeks in the ROC will do no such thing. In the unlikely event that there is a Greek brave enough to veto Turkey you can all kiss good-bye to your prosperity and way of life.

Can you enlighten us as to how this might come about, bilako???

Are you talking about trade embargoes? Naval and aerial blockades???
Non-recognition of the RoC by Turkey???

The chances that Turkey will make a military move against you is same as Vatican City invading and occupying Russia. Anyone who can spell "international relations" knows this.

In the event that you make a move against us... well, that will be for you to find out 8)

No one in their right mind would suggest that an armed conflict is the way out of our current predicament. On the contrary any conflict will most definitely inflict a heavy blow to our islands future and cause irreparable damage. Neither Turkey , the T/Cs or the G/Cs want anything else but a negotiated settlement . The EU will see to it that the ROC will have much to benefit from Turkey joining Europe .All of us want the best for our children and grandchildren , and none would agree that war is anything else than a total catastrophe .Those that harbour hallucinatory aspirations that a war would solve our problems are in a dream world.
