Such a confrontation will require excellent timing and opportunism. You need to pick the exact right time to commence such a conflict. Turkey is a very unstable country, and the CNG will need to wait for the possibility of the country dissintegrating from within. The masses of the islamists might one day go head to head with the secular powers, and if you add to this the milions of Kurds under oppression who may also see their opportunity to escalate, then anything is possible. If such a scenario becomes reality, then this will be the right opportunity to strike when Turkey is weak and vulnerable.

You though you had the "perfect timing" after WW1 when the Ottoman Empire crumbled and made the stupid mistake by thinking that you stood a chance back then, remember what happened to you?
