I think it was an earthquake off the coast - someone posted a thread on it the other day.

Experts are now saying that it would not of been felt inland..so the mystery continues.

Oh it would be felt inland! Having lived in Greece for 33 years I an tell you that an earthquake with an undersea epicenter can definitely be felt inland.

The British army said that planes were 30 miles offshore, which would rule them out as a source of the shake. My few memories of sonic booms are that there is sharp bang followed by a roar. It can make windows shake but not the ground.

Ladies & Gentlemen,

It has come to my attention from a very reliable source, and namely from the United States satellite observation center, that the culprit of the thunderous sounds that rocked the entire Paphos yesterday was none other than our very own Kafenes after consuming a large bowl of fasolia… :?

First time I saw this post I thought the same than you, but I'm excused 'cos I'm dyslexic.

About your eyes, dont worry my husband (who has worked in optical 20 years) says that every person older than 45 years has to wear glasses and some even earlier :roll: :roll: :roll:
