I remember my very first sight of Nicosia coming up the old road from the south, many, many years ago. It was of a city framed by the Northern mountain range in the background. it was a beautiful sight. Reminded me of tv pictures of Kabul in Afghanistan. Now of course, this view and the environment are destroyed by this gross flag(s).
