Rattan Furniture - where to go?

Postby simonwjones » Tue Apr 22, 2008 3:27 pm

Hi

I want to buy Rattan but don't know where to go. I have seen Melissa Rattan and they are quoting 1500 Euro for 2 x 2 seater and coffee table - which I think is very expensive. If this is the price then so be it but I never accept one price especially off a Cypriot!

Anyone got any ideas?

I want a similar set to this one

A 3 seat sofa, 2 armchairs and coffee table £910 (sterling) but here in the North - you can't take over the border I suppose?

After I've paid for vehicle hire, insurances, petrol it would be about the same price really. But thanks

Is the price quoted dear? He actually said it was 1400 because delivery would be to Pissouri and not far for them

I have bought from Melissa, they gave me 20% off the price. Did you ask for a discount ? They are good people, I went there as my parents use the shop.

Do Ikea sell Rattan? They are usually cheaper than your average outlet?

It is good stuff Simon, and it does last. Maybe a bit more haggling might do the trick. Have you tried Bo concept, more modern and maybe not rattan but lovely furniture..
