Its bad enough for dogs that live here year round - but a 2 mth visit from cool weather to blistering heat may be too much for "visitors" to cope with.

Ageed... plus 5 or 6 hours in a travel kennel and a journey in a noisy aeroplane...

i brought my dogs to live out here 2 years ago. my shar pei is 8 years old and was generally unwell in the uk. since being here it has given him a new lease of life. he loves the sunshine, sunbathes every morning for an hour or two then retreats to the shade. i don't take him out in the car or out and about because of the heat. so if your happy to just sit by the pool with your dogs they ll be fine. my dogs had to spend 6 hours flying via turkey and they were fine.no problems atall.

Thanks Rosie. I'm coming out for good next year so iy will be good "practice" for them ! Coral Bay will wonder what's happened when they arrive
