GR, just sign the damn thing. It is a petition against animal cruelty for heaven's sake. No one is saying that animal cruelty is worst in Cyprus. But it is only right to combat this evil in all countries.

So stop clowning around and do animal welfare in Cyprus a favour and sign the damn petition!

In her haste to help animals, Elena Theodosiou (the petitioner) made the foolish mistake of singling out Cyprus despite the fact that far more animals are getting ill-treated every year in “civilised” countries like the US and UK! I have posted links a number of times on this matter and today I bring to you yet another animal horror story…

In some states of the United States, it is actually legal to have sex with animals (bestiality) and here’s the evidence…

the USA is also the worlds leader in prosecution of people who abuse and neglect animals. but this thread is about CY and not USA, so stop trying to sidetrack the thread.
