As i suggested then Purdey, perhaps it is too many people using too few resources ?

This is exactly the point as you obviously do advocate the one rule for you and stuff the rest. Never mind your country being ruined - so long as it is by one of your own - is that what you are really saying?

Hi Bubbles
Kalo Xorio or kalo chorio is a village on the outskirts of Larnaca and as it's pretty barren I wouldn't say it's lovely ~ It's like world war 3 over there on occasions ~ it puts the fear of god up my new neighbours from Iraq when there's a exercise on.

Cheers Bill, I must be getting my villages mixed up as the one I went to was lovely and certainly not barren. Could have sworn it was Kalo Xorio. Sorry DT or was it GR?!?

BTW Bill, did you manage to sort out your e-mails? You still in the UK?

Purdey, that is too dangerous for words!

They tried to introduce those caps with the orange marker on them but very few wear them. Everybody wears camoflage so nobody knows where the next hunter is until evreyone starts fireing.

Way too dangerous for my liking!
You should all enforce safety measures at all costs. Has anyone ever been killed in these 'accidents'? Is it only at daybreak or during the rest of the hunting day too that these 'mishaps' happen?

Can you show everyone your 'pitch' with a huge pole or something? Anything to be seen!

Stay safe Purdey

Yes, a huge pole…. with a flag on it and perhaps a klaxon to let everybody know you are there!

Nobody shows or tells anyone their place. Some of these hunters spend weeks seeing which way the birds fly, and then hope nobody else has the same spot. I have never seen anyone shot while hunting in Cyprus, to be honest I am suprised the number is so low. Don't get me wrong, the majority of hunters are very safe, but accidents happen.

Trust you!

The pole itself could be painted in bright neon colours and then it would be quite visible to the other hunters!

I just want them to stay safe - and not to shoot too much in the process!

BTW, would this be the only time of day that a Cypriot was quiet? (This is meant in a kind way - so no jumping on your high horses people!)
