It's ridiculous how you spew it out like its all true. You knew who we had to fight to gain independence, while you were backstabbing us. And besides that, I have hatred for you because of denying me my land. Considering that you never even hung out with a GC, whats with your hatred other than looking to keep his land?
This is simply untrue. Makarios, EOKA, and much of the GC population if wall graffitti and flags are to be believed, were not fighting for independence. They were fighting to become part of Greece. Why should any TC help you become part of Greece?
If you could bring back to life any of the EOKA guys who were killed in the 1950s they would be amazed to discover that they had been fighting for independence.
This is the saddest excuse I ever heard of anyone ever starting a war.
It beats the lie about "weapons of mass distraction".
Banksy had better disarm himself of those spray cans, before he becomes the cause of WWIII.

Somehow this got diverted from a statement you made (on another thread?) that EOKA were fighting for independence not union with Greece.
Your statement is simply not true.
I don't know about this tenuous link as the quotes above indicate you taking growuptcs to task about Independence ... anyway, press on!.
It's very easy to muddy the waters regarding the primary objective of EOKA ... especially since a number of them went on to form EOKA B.
But the fear to the British of what EOKA were fighting for was Independence.
A summation of the main points of Grivas' EOKA campaign, from his own memoirs ... clearly indicates that until Independence, all their actions were directed towards gaining Independence ...
EOKA (Ethniki Organosis Kyprion Agoniston)
EOKA [Ethniki Organosis Kyprion Agoniston - National Organization of Cypriot Fighters] started a guerrilla campaign against British colonial rule aimed at self-determination and union with Greece (Enosis)on 01 April 1955. The campaign, which started when the first EOKA bombs exploded at 00.30 hours on 1st of April 1955, lasted until 1959 and caused the death of more Greek Cypriot civilians than the total of British killed. It created civil strife and mistrust between the two Cypriot communities. Tension increased in early 1957, when EOKA attacked Turkish police and auxiliaries. EOKA received direct support from Greece in money, arms, organization and propaganda. Greek-speaking Cypriots were awed by EOKA terrorists and subject to bombardment by Athens radio.

I won't even bother with the rest of your crap.
Well maybe you should have bothered with the rest of the "crap" because then you may have worked out that the Turkish police were actively helping the British (i.e. allied to). Who appointed these Turkish Police?
