I think we can safely remove the BBF off the list as well because we all know that the GCs will never accept power sharing so what's left?

TRNC over? I don't think so.

The TC community is far too small and weak to ever form any worthwhile international entity so all that can ever be achieved if partition ultimately succeeds, is the extension of Turkey onto Cypriot territory and the ultimate evaporation of what was once known as the “Turkish Cypriot” people.

Those Turkish Cypriots who dream of a TC “state” of a mere 120,000 people will be quickly disappointed, as holding onto a micro-state and preserving its desired nature would be the hardest tasks of all for a handful of people.

The interferences from Turkey in the north and the Greek Cypriots in the south will be enormous so expect such a micro-state to have a very short and turbulent life; the Cypriot tragedy repeating itself…

Go research San Marino, Monaco or Andorra.

The micro states and municipalities you mention are not contested by their respective modern neighbors because they are fortunate enough to be located in civilized locations of the world (France & Italy) and have existed for a very long time.

I seriously doubt that such a status would be enjoyed by a TC state on troubled Cyprus… :)

The only one who'll be creating any "trouble" for the TRNC is the GCs but that would be just laughed at while the TRNC and us TCs live our lives in our own country free of Greek rule.

Macedonia GR, think about Macedonia, what "troubles" has Greece managed to cause Macedonia, anything major that the Macedonians are really worried about...hmmm?

Oh yeah, I forgot........a name dispute....a mere name dispute and nothing else.

You claimed we are to small to make a go of things,I gave you good exmaples of small states who are doing fine, you now say you will contest but arent we talking after we get recognition. You to twist and turn to suit your own goals of trying either paint doom and gloom if we side with Turkey or that we will sink due to our size if we get recognition, well to be honest that woudl be our problem not yours.

You see that is your problem. The other countries you mention are not by products of an illegal invasion and continued occupation of a sovereign nation, with countless UN resolutions calling for a withdrawal. The "trnc" is exactly that. So good luck with your efforts for recognition. You are going to need all the luck in the world.

Once the GCs reconfirm to the world that the Cyprus problem cannot be solved recognition will come in one way or another, the GCs cannot afford another rejection or breakdown, the division has taken place physically in 1974 if the GCs want to unite they have to prove this not only to us but the world and primarily the EU who now look on GC as a hot potatoe, regretting the day they took you in. Time will reveal all, which ever way it goes TCs are comfortable knowing that at worse we have the TRNC and best we can have more relaxation of embargoes once the GCs pull out or reject another plan, the recognition ofthe TRNC will only come once you can no longer fool the world you want a fair solution as put forward by the UN.

With idiots such as yourself, I do not beleive that Cyprus will be united. We can always count on people such as yourself for preventing a Democratic and free united Cyprus for the benefit of all Cypriots.

At the same time, do not expect you beloved recognition of the "trnc" any time soon. And do not expect Turkey to annex you either as Turkey considers the "trnc" a liability. So keep on dreaming.

And BTW. Macedonia was a Greek Kingdom. That is why Hellenism spread as far as India and Pakistan. But you must have already known this? If not, IT IS YOU THAT NEEDS TO GET A REFUND FOR YOUR EDUCATION.  8) 8) 8)

Hellenism was once spread as far as india. Look at it now , it is just a collection of so-called Greeks who were stolen from adjoining countries . The hellenic people of today are completely different to those that were ruled by Alexander The Gay ( sorry , meant to say Great)
