How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Sure, don't keep your people guessing for too long... tell them what they'll "evolve" into.

Not into Muslim Greeks in a Greek state, that's for sure.

What kind of an answer is that? Here we were thinking you had a plan of how a recognized TC state would survive via some kind of "evolution" and you're still talking about the current "TRNC"? :?

The same as it has survived since 1974 GR. 34 years and still going even under embargoes.

I think we can safely remove the BBF off the list as well because we all know that the GCs will never accept power sharing so what's left?

TRNC over? I don't think so.

The TC community is far too small and weak to ever form any worthwhile international entity so all that can ever be achieved if partition ultimately succeeds, is the extension of Turkey onto Cypriot territory and the ultimate evaporation of what was once known as the “Turkish Cypriot” people.

Those Turkish Cypriots who dream of a TC “state” of a mere 120,000 people will be quickly disappointed, as holding onto a micro-state and preserving its desired nature would be the hardest tasks of all for a handful of people.

The interferences from Turkey in the north and the Greek Cypriots in the south will be enormous so expect such a micro-state to have a very short and turbulent life; the Cypriot tragedy repeating itself…

Your concern for the TCs is overwhelming GR, really and I'm touch as are all the TCs. I'll shed a tear when I have some free time.

Your lack of answers to potential problems is not doing justice to your campaign for a recognized state...

How do you know HOW the Turkish Cypriots survived from the comfort of Britain?

What "potential problems" GR?

I fail to see any "potential problems" whatsoever once the TRNC is recognised. Especially since we do not have to worry about getting lost in a sea of Greeks and GCs.

Your problem, that is Greeks and GCs problem, is that your argument (very silly, even stupid really) is that you are trying to scare us TCs with getting lost within our own people and forgetting our own culture AND you are trying to make us believe that we would be better off as second class citizens in a Greek controlled state.

"You can not be serious man".

Let me put it like this, when the TRNC is recognised the TC population will not get lost at all it will have gained another 80,000,000 to support it and make sure it survives.

Make of that what you want to, no skin off my nose.

How do you know that I am in the UK GR, been consulting your crystal ball again?

Let me put it this way GR, you have crossed the border in to the TRNC and
have seen it with your own eyes, don't you think the TCs have done pretty well even though under embargoes?

Eric,

It’s no surprise to me that most of those campaigning for a recognized TC state don’t even live in the “TRNC”! :)

Do you know the differences between the current “TRNC” and an internationally recognized TC state? I really doubt you’ve ever given it any thought…

Well, let me just say that you are wrong in both of your assumptions GR.

Why am I not surprised?

Eric , this guy Get Real is only jealous about how the TCs are expanding their numbers from the same sources as their ancestors . The GCs , however , seem to be happy to be prostituting themselves with anybody and everybody that has some money. Russians , Arabs etc etc , they are all welcome in the ROC. Alexander the Great must be turning in his grave .
