Yermasoyia water cuts

Postby Crivens » Thu Apr 17, 2008 9:08 am

I live in Mesa Geitonia in Limassol and we have had full information online about when the water cuts are, plus our administrators of the building put up the times we get get water. No problems.

Ok, my parents live in Yermasoyia in Limassol, and I read online (Cyprus Mail I believe) that they were excempt for the moment from water cuts. Ok.

Now my parents have been cut off without any warning, but I can't find any information online. I assume they are now on the water ration rota like the rest of us, but no-one has put up notices on the buildings in the area (that my parents know), and as far as I know no announcements have been made.

Does anyone know what the Yermasoyia water timetable is? Or perhaps this is a one off water problem?

Cheers

My Dad just told me a neighbour told him he talked to the water board and instead of cutting water they have decided to reduce pressure in Yermasoyia by 30% across the board. Unfortuantly that seems to mean apartment blocks haven't enough pressure to get to the tanks, if my dad and his neighbours are anything to go by (Dads place is about 4 years old BTW). Luckily there is not so many apartment buildings in that neck of the woods eh?...

It would have been good for your parents (and the rest of the village) to have been forewarned and prepared though! :x
