If only Bananiot, you are out numbered by GCs like Piratis, Kifeas, Kikapu, Sotos, Oracle, growuptc, DT to name a few against who we would not stand a chance. In a way I thank them for showing what we would face in a united Cyprus, they fuel my belief that there will never be a solution, and the only real solution out there is agreed partition.

I notice GR! has been dropped from the "hate" list

.... a born-again Turk no doubt!

To name a few I said, these people out number honest people like Bananiot who tell it as it really is, no sane TC would want to put their future in the hands of this mob, you help prove my point that you cannot trust or share a country with GCs, keep up the good work, thank you.

So long as Bananiot and GR! are aware they will be living with an unexploded bomb again!

Bananiot wrote:EOKA's struggle was for enosis not for independence. After independence the majority of EOKA members swore to God to carry on the struggle for enosis and the rest you all know.

It is true that Turkish Cypriots could venture out of the enclaves but they did so at their own peril. Some never returned.

What I fail to understand is why people are so afraid to admit things in order to finally bury the skeletons we have in our closets and look to a bright new future for all of us. The only way I can interpret this behaviour is if I assume that these people do not want a solution because of racist bigotry that has probably been incorporated into their genes by fanatical school teachers (we have a plethora of those), the church and all sorts of nationalists.

Bananiot, EOKA's struggle was for liberation, freedom and self-determination. Beyond that, how Cypriots would choose to exercise their right for self-determination is entirely up to them.

According to the resolution for decolonization "integration into an independent State" is a legitimate option for the people of a territory being decolonized to choose.

So we have done absolutely nothing wrong. It is others who kept invading our island with the aim to enslave us and steal our lands. We never ventured out of our own island to harm any Turks or British or anybody else. The only thing we ever asked for and fought for is our right for freedom from those foreign invadors. Nothing more.

Why don't you say anything about the fact that it is the TCs who started the conflict against us in 1958, and collaborated with the foreign colonialists, in order to stop Cypriots from gaining their freedom? How can you blame GCs when it is in fact the TCs who started the conflict?

According to you GCs should just be the good slaves and accept whatever some foreigners want to impose on us and our island and never fight for our rights! Fortunately the "Slave GC" kind, which the TCs so much love (as we can all see) is just a tiny minority. The rest of GCs will keep fighting for our rights and our enemies should know that as long as they try to enslave us and steal our lands that they will have losses and conciquences as well.

If they want peace, there is one and only way to achieve it: To take off their troops from our island and allow Cypriots to be free on their own island. The kind of peace that comes with our capitulation will never come. This is why Greek Cypriots still exist on this island for 3500 years after 10s of foreign invadors. If we were all like Bananiot there wouldn't be any Greek Cypriots left today.

If you read their posts carefully, you will see they are more reactionary than proactive like Oracle etc, they have given up on reasoning with GCs because they know there is no point, it is a fiscious circle of negativity, you post something negative and insulting and they respond in the same manner. Me on the other hand dont put much faith into GC attitudes changing but at least allow you the opportunity to prove that you are not the greedy bastards wanting the whole of the island for a GC state run by GCs with us as a minority in our own country, but as I say you prove everytime that they may right and I am wrong in wanting to give the benefit of the doubt to prove yourselves.

If people like Bananiot were always the majority then there wouldn't be any GCs today, we would all be Turks.

If people like Bananiot like magic became the majority now, then a few years ago we would have accepted the Annan partition plan and today you would have your own separate and officially Turkish part of Cyprus and your dream would be true.

But Bananiot is not the majority, and therefore gaining on our loss is not a possibility for you. If you want war, then you will have consequences from the war you choose, and you will never manage to win it and enjoy the spoils.

The greedy bastards are those who want more than what proportionately belongs to them and don't mind to steal from others. Therefore you are the greedy bastard. Not the ones that want democracy where each citizen is equal.

Stop, your making me blush. I never considered myself on a pedistal with these true Cypriots who should be in a Cyprus-Forum museum for their honor they display to save their country.

How can anyone expect the Turkish troops to leave the island without working towards a settlement. Maybe they expect a magic formula to come and dispear them overnight or until official partition becomes a reality and make everyone happy.
