When have we betrayed you?

In 1963 when you tried to change the constitution as being "not workable" as an excuse for your ENOSIS dream.

On the contrary, it is the Turks that hold the dubious honour of being untrustworthy.

It wasn't us TCs who broke the agreement we both signed for the republic we were supposed to share power in, it was you GCs who signed it under false pretences to get rig of the Brits only to try and genoicde us TCs for your ENOSIS dream.

That was not a betrayal by us. We had the Agreement imposed on us and accepted under pressure.

That's the lie you have been trying to make the world believe but the fact remains that you did sign the agreement and you did break it.

You had betrayed us by siding with the British whilst we tried to gain Independence ... then you rode along with the success which you not only did not contribute towards, but actively tried to prevent from happening.

Independence?:lol::lol: Since when is ENOSIS spelled as INDEPENDENCE?

And excuse us for not lying down and letting you turn us in to Greeks after you fulfilled your ENOSIS dream. Bad, bad TCs.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::roll::roll::roll::roll:

Then you were "rewarded" with a disproportionate amount of power by the British. You again betrayed the RoC when you opposed the proposed fairer reforms.

Again, excuse us TCs for not handing over the whole island of Cyprus to you and lying down to be killed and annihilated so that you can have your "Independence spelled ENOSIS". Jesus.:roll::roll:

You further betrayed us by not helping against the coupists but choosing instead the invaders,

Again, excuse us for choosing our saviours instead of the GCs and Greeks who wanted to genocide us TCs for their (Greeks/GCs) dream of "Independence spelled ENOSIS".:roll::roll:

to help them ethnically cleanse the GCs from a disproportionate amount of Cyprus again for your gains.

You did what you wanted to gain control of the whole of Cyrus for your "Independence spelled ENOSIS" and we did what we had to do in order to survive in our own country.

Jesus, are you for real?

Well you clearly are not!

You have no regard for truth.

Up until 1958 when you attacked us the only mass murdered people in Cyprus where the Cypriots who were murdered by the Turks several decades earlier. We had not harmed you and we had not made any plans against you. We were simply fighting for the freedom of our island so it could be liberated like it happened to several other Greek territories and islands.

Yes, in the conflict which you started you also had losses. But annihilations and mass murders was not our plan, it was yours, when in the 50s you started to demand that Greek Cypriots should be annihilated from half of their country, something which you insist even now.

I say if you are right than 300 years gives us enough right to fight for our freedom too, you cant have it both ways Piratis.

We are not the ones who invaded your lands, you did this to ours. We didn't bring you in Cyprus as slaves either, on the contrary you choose to come in order to enslave us. So are you introducing a new concept of "liberation" here?
Furthermore we never asked you to be slaves. Simply to stop being our rulers, and each one of you to have the same say as each one of us, and to finally allow Cypriots to choose their destiny in a democratic way. Similar to what happened to South Africa. Once the Whites used to have more rights than the blacks. Today all people have the same rights and the law does not discriminate people based on their race, or based on if they are the "ruling" class, or the "slave" class. Unfortunately even today you insist on racist discriminations and segregations and you want to apply Apartheid in Cyprus.

Your freedom meant our anniahaltion as we were in your way to reaching your goal of gifting Cyprus to Greece, but you forgot our right to fight for survival, anihilation from half the island is a great deal better than total annihilation, you are still a blind man and will never find peace within your sole as you are unable to acknowledge that your enosis = union dream was the cause of your own anniahalation from 37% of the island.

VP, don't give me the propaganda lessons that you give to your children.
The liberation of Cyprus would simply mean that instead of Cyprus being part of some foreign empire against the will of Cypriots, Cyprus would be part of a free country which was the democratic wish of the great majority of Cypriots themselves.

In 1958 you attacked us and you started the inter-communal conflict and at about the same time you started demanding that we should be annihilated from half of our country.

Can you show me up until that time any threads against you from our part?

Of course after you attacked us, and after you started to demand our annihilation from half of our country and collaborated with the colonialists to oppress the rebellion of the Cypriot people and deny to us our freedom and self-determination, then of course we fought back.
But even then we still never demanded that you should be anihilated, while for you our anihilation from the north part of our country was and remains your official policy unchained since the 50s.

Bananiot wrote:Demetris Christofias was the first RoC President who admitted publicly that both communities are to be blamed for the tragic events of December 1963. Until then it was solely believed that in 1963 the Turkish Cypriots performed a mutiny against the Cyprus Republic and that the Greek Cypriots simply fought back to preserve the unity of the island.

In today's "Politis" newspaper a former EOKA member and now a retired teacher sheds more light on the events. He recalls that in November 1963, officers of ELDYK and the Cypriot army, recruited all 120 male students of the Cyprus Teachers' Academy (bar one who was thought to be leftist) and were told that they would be trained in the use of arms because on December 25 there will follow an attack on the Turkish Cypriots that would result in the annihilation of all the Turkish Cypriots so that enosis would be declared. "Not even one Turkish cat will remain alive" they were told.

The above are written by Christos M. Savva, from Lysi.

Bananiot, if this was the objective of the GC leadership back then, can you possibly explain why such a "detail" was not included in the "notorious" Akritas plan of the "criminal Turk haters" Yiorgatzis and Papadopoulos, but instead quite the opposite was mentioned?

So what you are saying 1963 to 1974 after signing an agreement to put the past behind us and start again was pay back time? God help us for 1974 and if we should be stupid enough to agree union without plenty of safeguards to guarantee you keep your word this time as your record for renegging on agreements is not very encouraging.

Blah blah blah Piratis, you are like a broken computer, constantly repeating the same verbal diarrhea of the same perverted interpretation of the truth.

There is absolutely nothing new with anything you say, we did everything, we are the only responsible ones, we even caused our own death, Turks are basically guilty simply for existing, get a life man, truly, this is not YOUR country

It is exactly the unfair "agreement" that foreigners (with your help) forced on the Cypriot people that ensured that the conflict which you started would not end.

And there is nothing for you to "agree". I think we passed that stage already. You made it very clear that we can take back our own homeland only if we force the invadors of your kind out. So about what agreements are you talking about? There will be no such thing, unless you change your mind and stop trying to gain land and power on our loss.

There were no TC casualties before Turkey invaded.

Are you trying to lie that there were no TCs murdered by the GCs and Greeks from 1963 to 1974?

LIAR.

Proportional government representation was what we had before you threw us out, no?

Firstly, it was not proportional representation by any stretch of the imagination, averaging out at about 40% power for 18% population; and secondly the TCs were not thrown out they walked away from their responsibilities.

A deal is a deal but not for you GCs, you never keep your word.

Your Turkish propaganda gets worst every day. Did they give you a raise?

Stop saying crap that are not even theoretically possible. What is possible and what in fact happened, is small Cyprus being invaded by 10s of thousands of Turks, who kill Cypriots by the 1000s in order to enslave us and take our lands. This happened many times in our history, last time being in 1974.

etc, etc, etc

Quite conveniently, Piratis fails to understand that the author, Christos Savva, was referring to his own experience. The same people that recruited him and almost all the male population of the Teachers' Academy (bar one) did the same thing with other people, such as the high school pupils and other groups of people.

Savva, was an EOKA fighter and he fought side by side with Afxentiou. I think he hardly qualifies as a Turkish propagandist. Yet, Piratis has no problem vilifying him, forgetting that since February 17 2008, the opposite view is not a crime any more.

Kifeas seriously believes, I gather, that the Akritas Plan should have specifically laid down what the instructors were telling the young recruits. May be the next version will say exactly this.

The inter-communal conflict was from 1958 until 1968 and an about equal amount of GCs and TCs was murdered.

So stop lying that the conflict started in 1963, and stop lying that the conflict lasted until 1974.

Opposing view was never a crime, unless you know anybody who was convicted.

The democracy of Cyprus gives you the right to even lie and help the enemy.

I hope you do not want to deny to the Cypriot people this freedom by turning the whole Cyprus into a Turkish protectorate were the Turks will be able to control everything that goes on in our country. Is this your aim Bananiot?
